CU Boulder is 45 minutes from Denver International Airport (DIA) by car or an hour via the SkyRide bus service (one-way fare: ~$11). DIA is one of the major hubs of United Airlines and has direct connections to most cities in the USA and several direct connections into Europe (London, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, Zurich), as well as a direct connection to Tokyo.
Bus transportation from DIA leaves every 30 or 60 minutes and is a popular and convenient way to get to Boulder from the airport. Once a participant arrives in Boulder, a dense network of local buses as well as cabs and rideshare services (Uber, Lyft) are available. Several hotels are within a short walking distance to the conference site (see Appendix A). Downtown Boulder is about 1.5 miles from the conference site. Participants staying in a hotel in downtown Boulder can either walk (20-25 minutes) or take the HOP, a high-frequency bus that connects downtown with campus; see https://bouldercolorado.gov/hopbus.
Participants renting cars have the choice of purchasing a parking pass for the entire week (~$20), for a single day (‘~$9), or per hour (~$2).
